imagine the pain of wanting to do smth so badly yet you're unable to do so.

something stops you halfway and you actually have to control and restrain yrself while thinking back on nice past memories..

things you've agreed on on doing together next time; places to go next time; movies to catch next time after watching interesting trailers; food to try next time;

but then you realised, no there isnt any next time anymore..

and the worst part? the last time spent wasnt cherished.

yesterday

was bored staying at home so i joined my parents who were bringing their jap client ard.. and my dad suddenly had an impromptu suggestion to go on the singapore flyer so off we went! hahah.

it was $29.50/adult and i thought it was kinda overpriced.. considering the ride is just 30 mins and its nth exciting i feel.. when ure in the cabin it feels as though ure not moving cause its so slow lol but ohwell at least there's the nice scenery but thats all la haha.. i'd rather go for the clarke quay bungee jump (or whatever that is) anytime! :P hahaha.

ok so after the ride it was ard 8plus alr and all of us were STARVING! dinner at asian kitchen (or smth like that) @ vivo! shld have seen the way all of us gobbled up our food lol like hungry ghosts pls! 3 plates of fried rice and 7 side dishes shared by 4 ppl damn fulfiling dinner lolol and it didnt even cost us more than 100 bucks leh! was not bad i would say (:

next stop to candy empire for the jap client to buy some stuffs back and i ended up buying $20+ worth of rubbish also haha!

okay and after the super full dinner and purchase of my fattening chocs, we proceeded to............... toastbox ): cause daddy wanted to bring the jap client to have kaya toast so naturally i couldnt resist the temptation to order my fav choc thick toast! supper yummy i tell you :P not forgetting how much fats it'll give me of course.

yup basically i think i've gained a few kgs after all the food LOL. and im such a clever girl to eat like that just one day before my medical checkup cum taking of height and weight right? yes super smart.

so today...

huiling and i went to NTU for our checkup! and yaaaa I'VE BECOME HEAVIER OMG ): not above 48kg yet, but i dont like it! me wana exercise my fats off and go back to 45 45 45!!

anyw it was quite fast la. eye checkup, see doctor, urine test, xray, done! but it was damn tiring cause we had to run here and there lol..

and after that we still had to go to the student affairs centre or smth like that. level 2 to submit our tuition grant form, level 3 to submit payment of application of hostel fee, level 5 to get the receipt for the hostel fee.

so troublesome pls ):

okay so we met vicky after that! dinner @ fish&co.! wah think they underwent inflation pls. so exp now! and my damn yummylicious baked salmon is not on the menu anymore!! damn sad ): ): ): ohwellll.

next was shopping at far east! we tried more than we bought, or shld i say neither of us bought anything at all lol! mainly cause i wasnt really in the shopping mood since i wasnt feeling rich.. maybe next week when i get my levi's pay :P haha..

sat at starbucks for coffee, cake and chilling out while deciding whether or not to come over to my place for overnight mahjong. plan cancelled in the end since we san que yi and couldnt find a fourth person so.. too bad! ):

its like sitting down on the steady floor leaning against a steady wall and suddenly with no warning the wall falls apart and you have nothing to lean on anymore..

and whats worse would be the floor suddenly breaking apart as well and there's nothing left no more support you feel so lost and helpless with nobody nothing just you and yourself..

last week was super hectic with my job schedule and all; everyday was just waking up early in the morning, going to work, going home at an unearthly time all exhausted thus sleeping immediately..

last weds: 8am - 1230am
thurs: 830am - 12am
fri: 930am - 12am
sat (aftn shift finally!): 1pm - 12am
sun: 930am - 1245am

damn omg pls i wonder how i actually survived the 5 days lol.. 4 days of selling floor and 1 day fitting room.. the first day of sales (18th) was damn busy omg tsunami pls i walk also need to squeeze through ppl lol!

but i think sales period is fun though super tiring (: the feeling's like when i was still in hc doing all the saikang preparing for a major event and running the event being busy and everything; everyone'll work hard and be tired and everything tgr (:

but anyw we had free lunch and dinner and sometimes supper (macs! blanjah-ed by kakdee hahah and sunday was canadian pizza) provided by cathy hahah through some catering; and 3 or 4 of us would eat in the storeroom and chitchat haha i like (:

today was supposed to be my day off, but cathy asked me to work cause they were short handed so ok lo worked aftn shift today.. was doing fitting room with lisan haha my fav full timer (: and nice khairin and sockteng kept coming over to help me when lisan was on break haha love them both too super nice and entertaining ppl!

and never did i expect today to be my last day instead of this supposed thurs (26th).. cause they wana cut down on the part timers also.. actually they planned for our (khairin, farhan & mai too) last day to be tmr but im off tmr so today lo ): whereas the other 3 are tmr..

damn sad pls. and cathy told us just when we were abt to leave.. damn short notice so im quite sad sigh ): so frances bought macs ice cream cone and fries for all of us sort of farewell haha so nice (:

cant really bear to leave after i've become closer with all of them, the full timers too. i still rem on my first few days they werent really v friendly to me haha but now so fun and so nice (: only 2 weeks yet i feel like i've known them for damn long alr lol.. but too bad ohwell. just sad that im given such an ultra short notice, but anyw 2 days doesnt really make any diff la huh? just that i'll be more prepared..

anyw glad that i've met such nice ppl at mango marina (: my 3 in-charges; mama vic, kak dee, cathy (: the full-timers; lisan (!), angel (!), amy, frances (super cute woman! find her damn amusing hahah), swee, dinah, hubert (my babeh!! hahah), ah yee.. the part-timers; arinah (!), sockteng, khairin (!), farhan, mai, holly, xiaojuan, huiqing (: yup think thats all.. duno if i missed anyone out lol..

so im unemployed once again. time to rest! but one mth plus is still abit long ah? damn think im too sentimental and i dont like it ):

and cathy owe me cookies (for working today lol) and khairin owe me half dozen of donuts (cause i proved him wrong abt the location of the tubes hahaha damn stupid) and we were still planning to get them after work on our last day on thurs )))): now how? ):

never mind i shall go back again during the next season dec sales period (: hope all of them will still be there and hope the other part timers will go back to work again! (:

i love mango marina sq!! love all the 2 weeks of memories (: and i shall go back soon to buy all my reserved clothes after the ahemsecondmarkdownahem :P but duno whether mine will have markdowns since i think my items are quite sellable? i guess? hahaha okay cant wait to go visit them alr lol!

ok time to have a long good sleep finallyyyy after 5 days of pathetic rest LOL! goodnight (:

205 day today!

been so long since i last joined them for any outings (due to my work schedule ):) and it feels so good to meet all of them again (: (: (: really missed them can haha.

first up was mahjong @ my place! omg totally missing the past when we would meet up almost every week (hahaha) for mahjong at each other's place!! think we're super gamblers pls hahaha.

and today there were 9 ppl so we opened 2 tables! making my home looking super like a gambling den la LOL. good meeting all the botak guys too! (except oscar hahah) but too bad poor chunhan has guard duty thus couldnt join us :P

after that we headed to kallang leisurepark for dinner @ pastamania. was quite a fulfilling and contented dinner :D kop-ed weijie's & cheryl's garlic bread :P, ate my not-bad-cheese-chicken-sausage-salsiccia or smth like that, kop-ed cheryl's choc banana pizza! happy happy hahah.

AND ME AND VICKY BOUGHT DONUTS AFTER THAT TOO MORE HAPPY! :D :D me heart donuts super lots pls. can imagine all the fats building up zzz. nvm shall shed them off during my full shift tmr yes! hahaha.

planned to catch a movie but there wasnt really anything all of us could agree on so.. too bad! ended up playing at the arcade for quite long haha i love arcades too :P

sat ard at coffee bean for quite awhile after that chitchatting haha and discussing abt wed's bbq which i cant go for ): cause i have work and i cant take off.. sigh. me wana go bbq too! me wana eat bbq chicken wings, sausages, otah (!!), satays, sweet potatoes...................... with my darling 205s! i want i want i want ))))))))))))): pls organise another one next time!!

then it was home sweet home! shall sleep soon since i have to wake up early tmr sigh ):

survived my full shift today and im dead exhausted now lolol.

mango is more tiring than levi's ): wonder how i'll survive during the sale period when i have THREE full shifts consecutively and its frm 8AM/930AM - 12AM/1AM zzz sian-ed. so not looking forward but then again, more hours = more money! so i shall be money motivated yes? hahahaha.

and as long as arinah or sockteng (fellow part timers!) is working with me, i'll feel better cause i have someone to talk to lolol. hope the remaining part timers who have yet to arrive are nice too! (:

first day of work at Mango (marina sq) (:

not bad, was quite alright though i was missing levi's here and there lol.

the staff were quite friendly but i still dont feel at ease.. yet. unlike my first day at levi's (marina sq too!) which i immediately loved my work cause of the staff (:

anyw a convo between one of the full-timers and me:

her: how old are you ah?
me: 19..
her: oh so ure in poly now?
me: nope im waiting for uni..
her: wah so clever ah! ............................. you know at first i see you i thought you ah lian ah lian one (yr face and the way you talk cause normally part timers first day all shy shy one), so naturally i'd be shocked if an ah lian can go to university..
me: *stunned*

still, reasons why mango is better than levi's:

1) weekdays same pay $6/hr but weekends mango's $7/hr

2) all i have to do is fold, fold and fold.. no need to serve customers, no need to achieve my individual sales target. there's even a staff who's job scope is to find stock frm the storeroom for us so i need not do anything! part timers are also not allowed thus i need not do cashiering.. and no need to count stock every night!!

3) i need not tie up my hair and i can wear slippers (!!) on the shopfloor :P :P and nope no uniform for part timers!

4) morn/aftn shift is 1 hr more so i have $6/$7 more per day :P but with the opportunity cost (haha) of resting an hr earlier/later..

5) for full shift, 2nd break is 1 hr long! (levi's one is half an hr only..)

6) the storeroom is HUGE! compared to levi's that is.. its like more than 10 times bigger than levi's ones pls!? but then again, small storerooms are more cosy ah? and its easier to find ppl with just one glance lolol.

7) mango is my favourite retail shop. LOL.

reasons why levi's is better:

1) it has a simpler and more straightforward system of doing things.. yes even the POS system and stockchecking lol..

2) levi's staff are more homely (i feel) and its quite easy to click with ppl you've just known.. gives a more comfortable feeling (:

3) levi's main product is jeans so its easier to relate to customers unlike mango whose products are always seasonal i think?; i duno, i actually like recommending jeans to customers lol and i kind of miss it now ):

4) im just used to levi's hahaha.

okay anyw its my offday tmr lol quite fast right, first day today and off tmr. but damn sian cause i have to go to their main office at 9AM (!?!!?!!?!!?!!) to submit some stuffs since i didnt that day.. damn annoying pls zzz.

sometimes you have to be sure of whats yrs and whats not..

and learn to let go at the right times.

sometimes its not that you cant let go, its just that you're not willing to..

the need to hurt someone dear in order to protect another dear one.. maybe hurting yrself in the process..

and the inability to control anything, but to helplessly let things go the way they're supposed to.

sometimes you just cant have the best of both worlds.

choices. such a simple word yet so difficult to manage.

sacrifices. the unwillingness of naturally selfish humans to do so yet are being compelled to.

out with my dearest atla5 today! been ages since i last saw them pls haha miss them super super lots! (: and darling freda wasnt the latest today :P all thanks to henry hahaha.






cam whoring (as usual :P) while waiting for dearest lihan! hahaha.

reached orchard and had a sudden urge to have buffet since all of us were freaking hungry lolol. decided on seoul garden in the end.. been damn long since i last had it too.

eat, gossip, laugh, eat, drink, laugh, gossip, talk rubbish, eat, talk rubbish, eat............. till all of us were freaking bloated hahaha but satisfying though :D


the only time i get to be the tallest :P :P

walked ard for awhile after that before freda & lihan had to leave soon for their work ): while me, adam & henry left for home..





ohya visited weiyang at taka girls' and zul at centrepoint (which i spent quite awhile catching up with him ha).. one of the best things frm my few mths at levi's is that i really got to know many many nice ppl and am loving it (:

and so we met up again after their work! LOL. but only me, freda & adam were left. caught narnia at E!hub - downtown east's new mall - at 1240am lolol. i thought it was not bad, some parts were quite cool hahah, though i didnt watch the first narnia. as i've always thought, the company matters more than the movie (: (unless i really really wana catch that particular movie hahaha)

anyw E!hub's cinema's seats didnt really appeal to me ): its like couple seats filling the whole theatre can haha it'll be quite unfair if there's an odd no. of ppl watching the movie.. but anyhow i enjoyed the day with my dearest atlas hc (: (:

am damn tired now cause i reached home at like close to 4am thus slept at 4plus and i had to wake up early today ): shall sleep earlier later hahah.

went shopping (!!) with my dear darl today! (: (:



before that i went down to royal sporting house (mango's main office) to sign some stuffs.. which reminded me of a few months back when i went to jay gee house (levi's main office) for my interview since it was quite near each other lol.. guess i still miss levi's but ohwell ):

anyw i was quite pissed off, i filled up the job application form and waited at the sitting area for more than an hour but i still didnt see lois/louis/lewis/however you spell her name (the lady who contacted me). an hour leh.. need so long not!? and since i was alr late in meeting vicky i just went off.. damn annoyed pls zzz.



shopped at orchard area for the whole day; wisma -> taka -> lido (for dinner) -> fareast -> back to taka cause we decided to buy our shoes lolol.

merely bought a pair of black skinnies and a pair of black URS flats.. would have preferred to get more clothes lol but too bad ):



dress + angle makes me look pregnant in photos pls ): i swear its not like that in actual.. LOL. and i was super amused by vicky's blurpoke expressions hahah.

anyw cute guy no. 1 didnt contact me ): im such a dumbass for not asking back for his no. in return right? LOL. k whatever.

so today is my self-proclaimed last day at levi's.. last day supposed to be tmr but no im not going cause 1) im doing full shift 2) its gonna be really tiring cause tmr is the last day of sales so at night we have to pack everything back into the cartons and there're like many many hundreds of jeans pls, not to mention what unearthly time we'll get to go home zzz 3) i just dont feel like going lol.

today's aftn shift alr tired me out la lol.. i packed one whole wagon nicely and went off to do smth for 5 mins and when i came back its alr pasar malam style. super irritating pls. stupid people !@#$%^&* yes i know its like that but its different when ure the one who packs instead okay.

but lucky today was quite fun during the aftn (when we dont have to pack like siao) cause i like all the ppl working today (: no in-charge too.. relaxing! and damn fun chitchatting here and there hahaha (:

anyw i realised that cute guy no. 2 (yes i know his name alr lol) is hebe's boyfriend lol damn qiao pls. and cute guy no. 1 asked for my number just now :P :P hahahhaha.

submitted many job applications online last sun and i received many calls today! (:

okay anyw all along it was my wish to work in mango but i thought since i've only a mth left so better not, maybe wait for next time uni hols few mths then go for mango..

and unknowingly mango was one of the job applications i've submitted lolol, cause they didnt really state so i didnt know..

and they called me today first thing when i woke up! so yup i'll most prob be working there frm 9th - 26th unless smth goes wrong halfway, and most prob the marina outlet. was damn happy and excited after i received the call pls hahaha.

yay i can reserve those nice sale items for myself :P lolol! okay please let nothing go wrong (: but if all fails i can go back to those 2 other companies i've 'rejected' (i hope) :P hahaha.

slept for abt 14 hrs last night hahaha damn shuang can :P

am still coughing rather badly but i think im getting better.. hope my voice gets back to its original form soon lolol.

my sis was asking me to go out for ice cream later.. shld i? hahaha.

stayed home the whole day today and its really boring.. i seriously need to 1) get a job soon 2) meet up with all the friends i haven seen in ages ):

anyw the job interview i went for last sat; no idea whether they recruited me cause i received a missed call frm an unknown no. but i didnt return the call, but anyw, i hope they dont cause i dont really like the job environment; too high-class for me i feel. hahaha. ya so.. any other job recommendations? for 1 month, preferably retail. lolol. quite hard to find i know.. so if i cant find any also no choice la sigh.

went for the bugis bhg sales today, yes finallyyyyy.

morning was damn slack pls i can just stand there and stone throughout lolol but in the aftn it was hell man. my wagon jeans became like pasar malam scattered everywhere; all of us had to keep folding and folding and folding the whole day, basically i think thats our main job scope LOL.

and i think my illness is getting worser lol i chose the coldest place to stand just now hahaha cause im anti-social and thats the most ulu place :P luckily nice weiyang (cute guy no. 1 :P) kept coming over to chitchat with me hahaha. and i-duno-his-name (cute guy no. 2!) was at the wagon beside mine so time passed pretty fast for me :P have to find smth to entertain myself and keep me happy since im doing smth unwillingly right!?

and did i mention that cute guy no. 1 offered me chocolates and cute guy no. 2 offered me sweets? hahahahaha okay whatever.

anyw i sick still go work alr give them face pls. i was like coughing and sniffing throughout and my voice sucks pls i dont even feel like talking at all.

im going to stay home the next 2 days (lol) and go for my self proclaimed last day on weds.. im so not going for the last day of sales on thurs okok.

and i shall sleep earlier tonight; i've been slping late maybe thats why im not recovering lol, plus the fact that im not restraining myself to healthy food hahaha. so pls smack me and force me to go to sleep if you still see me online by 11pm okay thanks :P
